The first multispecialty ambulatory surgical center to be licensed by the New York State Department of Health -- grants privileges exclusively to highly trained and skilled board-certified physicians in independent private practice. These physicians must be on staff at one or more area hospitals or medical centers and possess outstanding credentials, which are subject to a biennial review process in order to maintain their affiliation.
